➣ Q – Why did Jared Shave his beard?
ㅤ✦ A – His face is being scanned so he can be put into the game.
➣ Q – In a cargo SLC 4 months ago you said that you just missed the target for release and the team was really close to being finished. What the hell happened?
ㅤ✦ A – We still had to go through the regular PTU phases (Evo, public PTU, Live) but there were a lot of bumps that happened in between these phases preventing us from a LIVE publish. ATC and Transit were big hold up as they were very old and very complicated to work through the bugs.
➣ Q – What happened with the Item Drawer change?
ㅤ✦ A – The original vision for the Item Bank is how it works now. With the feedback from players and discussions with the internal team we wanted to keep it simple for everyone. But we will bring it back with better functions and features in the future.
➣ Q – Are we going to have more room to park ships off to the side of the hangar pad?
ㅤ✦ A – We do not plan to expand the pavement off to the side, but we do want to add Garage Modules.
➣ Q – Are there any plans to add side rooms (e.g. firing range, HAB, and large room with a cargo grid) in hangars for players to customize?
ㅤ✦ A – The plan for hangars is for it to be customized and expanded in the future. The list of potential modules is still being defined.
➣ Q – Will we be able to remove the garbage in our hangers?
ㅤ✦ A – We want to split the data between instanced hangars and personal hangars, so that everything can be removed in the personal while leaving the dressing in the instance hangars.
➣ Q – Does the team have any plans to move the freight elevator to positioned better for loading and unloading?
ㅤ✦ A – Yes, with hangar modules we want you to be able to move the elevator to best fit your needs.
➣ Q – Are there plans to use the existing cargo deck on stations?
ㅤ✦ A – Yes, but there will need to be a complete rework to incorporate them into current cargo gameplay. This plan is too far into the future to share at this time.
➣ Q – Will you implement a mode switch feature to tractor beams to align them with the ATLS or is it exclusive to the ATLS?
ㅤ✦ A – For right now it is exclusive to the ATLS. There is discussion internally to expand on the advantages and disadvantages of tractor beams and the ATLS.
➣ Q – In the CitCon goodies pack you sold beds. Will we be able to long in and out of these beds?
ㅤ✦ A – When you get it, no. There will be a lot more work on “bed logging” in the future.
➣ Q – What work is being done to stop our hangar decorations from blowing around?
ㅤ✦ A – This is an issue with the physics engine and server performance. As server meshing is rolled out we will see this become less and less of an issue.
➣ Q – Any plans to bring back SCU stacking (1SCU mission boxes fitting in a 8SCU container)?
ㅤ✦ A – We needed to improve the logic for delivering nested content. At some point in the future we will bring it back.
➣ Q – Will a player be able to call their ship in a friends hangar?
ㅤ✦ A – Yes, this is another feature that will be added in the future.
➣ Q – Is spawning vehicles through the cargo elevator still planned?
ㅤ✦ A – Yes, this is another feature that we had to push towards the future.

➣ Q – Will we be able to disable the alarm that alerts when we call a ship up?
ㅤ✦ A – Its not something we have been talking about adding but we do want to make getting ships faster for the player.
➣ Q – What is the end goal for loading and unloading ships like the Hull Series?
ㅤ✦ A – We want the near future to have manual loading for docking cargo ships.
➣ Q – What is the status on Hover Trollies?
ㅤ✦ A – Unfortunately, the Hover Trolly was not working right with the physics engine so we had hold it back to make sure 3.24 could get out the door. We are still working on adding them into the game.
➣ Q – Will the search bar accept item names in the future?
ㅤ✦ A – yes, but it will need to be built out more as there are several different types of logs that make it minorly complicated.
➣ Q – What is being done to improve item stability (e.g. Mining bags) in freight elevators?
ㅤ✦ A – The packing and arrangement feature was not working well with some items pivots and this will need to be fixed.
➣ Q – Will we be able to spawn multiple ship at once in a hangar?
ㅤ✦ A – Yes, this is something that we want to add in the future.
➣ Q – Will we be able to name our cargo boxes?
ㅤ✦ A – This is another feature that we have been discussing and will want to add in the future.
